Phase 2:  Construction Process

1) Pre-Construction Meeting

  • Includes specifications, allowance & change order summary, home purchase & sale agreement

2) Physical Construction of Home

   A) Project Schedule

  • Footings, Foundations & Framing (2 Months)

  • Plumbing & Mechanical Rough, Roof (2 Weeks)

  • Electrical & Structured Wiring Rough, Brick (1 Month)

  • Insulation, Drywall, Boxing & Siding (1 Month)

  • Wood Flooring, Interior Trim, Cabinets, Tile (1 Month)

  • Interior & Exterior Painting, Gutters (1 Month)

  • Plumbing, Mechanical & Electrical Trim Out (1 Month)

  • Hardwood, Hardware, Carpet, Shelving (3 Weeks)

  • Punch, Rough Clean & Final Clean (2 Weeks)

   B) Selection Schedule

  • Stage 1 – Exterior Finish, Windows, Roof, Front Door & Exterior Paint

  • Stage 2 – Appliances, Plumbing Fixtures, Cabinets, Stairs, Built-Ins, Fireplace Mantels & surrounds

  • Stage 3 – Structured Wiring, Tile, Drywall Options, Interior Doors & Trim, Garage Doors, Interior Paint Colors, Counter tops

  • Stage 4 – Lighting, Hardwood Floors (stain), Carpet, Door & Bath Hardware, Closet Shelving & Mirrors

  • Stage 5 – Driveway Design/Finish, Landscape Plans, Exterior Railings

Phase 3:  Post Construction

1) Closing / Post Construction Meeting

     A) Sign closing documents

     B) Receive 2-10 Warranty Binder

     C) Receive Provident Homes 1 Year Warranty Information

2) Warranty Program

     A) Warranty Service Coordinator

  • Facilitates resolution of closing

  • Receives & formats 60 day & 1 year warranty requests

  • Assists Warranty Manager with scheduling subcontractors & vendors for warranty work

     B) Warranty Manager

  • Assists with punch activities related to closing

  • Schedules subcontractors & vendors for warranty work

  • Facilitates completion of work for 60 day & 1 year warranty requests
